TO ST BEES BY TRAIN.

Two big cases made their way through crowded morning trains from Lewisham to Euston ready for our big adventure, changing trains at Carlisle on a cool afternoon. The London was running late, so we hurried off the crowded carriage and literally ran along the platform to our connecting train on the BarrowBarrow-in-Furness line with other potential walkers (identified by their attire, type of luggage and overheard conversations). The guard waited for us all to alight the train with some like us  with heavy bheavy baggage.
